BUNGALOW - REAR ADDITION

This 800 square foot 1950’s bungalow in Toronto’s east end was re-imagined and expanded with a modest rear addition to allow for the house to become a bright, contemporary family home. Working with the homeowner and designer (Sarah Hartill, Sarah Hartill Design) each of the spaces was designed to maximize natural light and tailored specifically to the family’s lifestyle. The slope of the site allowed for a natural rear walkout to the garden and also lent an expansive feel to the back of the house.
